Ganymede is a Northwind 56 sailing yacht. Built in 2001/2 at their yard in Barcelona. We have lived aboard and sailed in her since February 2002. In this time we have covered a large part the Mediterranean from Spain to Turkey and back - many times! A total of 16,000 sea miles so far.

For the first few years we had our youngest son, Charlie, on board with us and home schooled him - though what he learned I am not sure. But Maggie and I have had the most wonderful experiences and met with some wonderful people. The sailing community is one of the friendliest and welcoming that I have ever met.
